Announcing May’s Monthly Challenges

We need your help to make Food Revolution Day on May 17th the biggest yet. We have hundreds of activities happening around the world and we want to get even more people participating. This month is all about promoting #FRD2013 and getting your community and local press involved. Remember to Cook it. Share it. Live it.

May’s Challenge #1:

Promote #FRD2013 through ALL YOUR CHANNELS!

We rely on Ambassadors to inspire others in their community to get involved in Food Revolution Day. We want you telling everyone you know – family, friends, neighbors, colleagues and even strangers. Help everyone get involved my leading them to our #FRD2013 website and our activity guide.

May’s Challenge #2:

Reach out to your local press and use social media to amplify your voice.

Make sure to reach out to local newspapers, radios, bloggers, etc. Also try promoting on Facebook, Twitter or emailing out information about your activity and #FRD2013. If you need any inspiration, check out our Food Revolution Facebook and Twitter to get ideas for posts.

May’s Challenge #3:

HAVE FUN and make sure to take photos and videos of everything that is happening during your #FRD2013 activities.

We want to see how your activities went so please document and send all photos and videos to We can’t wait to hear all about your global activities!

What are Monthly Challenges?

Every month, there will be different challenges that inspire Food Revolutionaries to engage with their communities. They are designed to make deeper connections with the thought leaders in the real food industry and connect with family and friends through fresh food.

At the beginning of every month, the challenges will be announced through a blog post, email, Facebook and Twitter. The idea is to complete as many challenges as you can. As you complete the challenges, let us know how they went. We want to hear your stories, see your pictures and be able to show your successes through our various social media platforms. So get out there, have fun and make sure you share your story with us – we could be highlighting what you’ve been doing to the world!
