Food Revolution Ambassadors Spread Food Knowledge Wide and Far

We are always excited about announcing Monthly Challenges but this month we were particularly excited about seeing one challenge in particular, our challenge to teach your family or friends how to make a holiday meal or a traditional dish from scratch.

Our global team of Ambassadors have so much food knowledge and we always love an opportunity to have them share their skills with their family, friends and community. November was no different; they shared their recipes and holiday meals with everyone!

Ambassador Joelle Gillooly from Cary, North Carolina

‘Today my 4 year old and I made sweet potato cocoa muffins and chocolate zucchini bread. Both sweetened with bananas and a little local honey. This was her first time using the grater! We were making these for teacher appreciation.’

‘One of the goals this month was to teach a family member to make a holiday food dish and I decided it was time for me to teach my daughter to make a super easy holiday relish with fresh cranberries, lemons and oranges that will keep in the refrigerator for two weeks.’

Ambassador Danielle Malmquist from Manteno, Illinois taught her 15-year-old sister Maria how to make green bean casserole from scratch.

‘This month, one of the challenges was to teach friends or family to make a holiday meal or traditional dish from scratch. Here in the US we just celebrated Thanksgiving. A dish that my family often has with Thanksgiving dinner is green bean casserole. The “traditional” recipe for green bean casserole would use some cans of cream of mushroom soup and a package of little onion rings. Needless to say, what we did was make a real food, from scratch version of the casserole.’

Ambassador Ange Randrianasolo from London, UK made her own GOSH food gluten and lactose free meal & dessert. She made a “Framboise” GOSH food marinated chicken with mushrooms & cauliflower rice (fried with coconut oil) and GOSH food cocoa ice cream.

‘This was also one of the monthly food revolution challenges. I taught others how to make a meal from natural and fresh ingredients bought at the market in the morning. Nothing was premade and we made everything from scratch.’

‘My recipe to share with friends, was this welsh cake, its interesting because it was created by the welsh who emigrated to Argentina with local ingredients. Its perfect for Christmas and it last for months! (If you can stop eating it)’
